My "Hooked on Thrifting" daughter was married on August 11, 2014. What a beautiful and sweet couple you and Chris are! We couldn't be happier for you. The wedding took place in a beautiful church with 18th century architecture. The reception was held at a quaint country inn in a private dining enclave. The happy duo honeymooned in the White Mountains of New Hampshire!
The wedding was a small intimate affair with immediate family only, but was classic vintage. I have to say the bride has impeccable style. From the church, the dress, the flowers, and the reception, everything was absolutely perfect. For her big day, the bride decided on a designer gown and trousseau. Her earrings; (vintage pearl and glass crystal), were acquired at a thrift store. For a bit of fun, vintage pink sun-glasses; (acquired at a vintage flea market), provided a beautiful light touch en-route to the reception. Here are some photos we would like to share with you!
The bride's dress was not white, but ivory. It was so very beautiful! |
A quaint and beautiful country church! |
What a beautiful couple. Catherine was breathtakingly beautiful. |
The bride's flowers were inspired by vintage ephemera.........(bouquet of pink roses), as well as by the pink & white bouquet her mom held at her wedding 34 years ago. |
The bouquet with vintage ribbon was so very pretty! |
The veil had tiny rhinestones that were such a lovely detail. |
Though these vintage earrings were found at a thrift store, they could not have been more perfect! |
Love this couple! |
Watching our baby girl get married! A bittersweet,...but joyous day! |
