Yesterday, I purchased this little "He is risen!" magnet at a local flea-market mall. Sometimes, it is just the little things that become treasures. Love this!

"Annabel Grace"!

Welcome to the world Annabel Grace! Feel so blessed to once again be a Great Auntie! My niece had a beautiful baby girl on Monday, "Annabel Grace". I know my sister, Karen is overjoyed in heaven with the news of her new beautiful Grand-daughter. God is Great!

$1.00 yard sale find

My husband and I walked down-town for coffee/hot chocolate this morning. On the way home, we  popped by a yard sale. Noticed this pretty vintage piece with a $2.00 price tag. I picked it up to look at it, and quickly heard:  "You can have that for a $1.00". I snapped it up. It is so beautiful. Think I will take the lid off and use it as a flower vase.  Love!

The perfect little vase. Would be lovely with white flowers!  Now can't wait to buy some white baby's breath.....

French Blue Candlesticks (flea-market find)

Purchased these beautiful french blue wooden candlesticks at a flea-market last week-end. Love the color.   Cest la vie!

Making room for a vanity!

Have always enjoyed a separate vanity place for applying make-up. My vanity area is now in our spare bedroom. You can carve out your own space with some simple steps. Look for either a fold-up table or sturdy piece of furniture such as an old desk at thrift store. Make sure the table/furniture piece fits your space. Add all of your "girlie" essentials for making the space functional. i.e.) mirrors, lamps etc.  I am now using a white fold up table that I found while thrifting. I topped my table with a piece of marble for an elegant look.  Love this space.

The beauty of the "Dogwood" tree!

Have been busy with work lately, and have not had time to thrift. Am hoping to change that over the week-end.  I am fortunate to work from my home office, and this time of year I have a lovely view of the Dogwoods which are in full bloom. Here are a few pics.

Vintage Valentine Postcards!
