Another Boho Chic Sectional!

Also designed a Boho Chic Sectional for our living room. Just purchased a standard roll away bed from a discount store, added  cushions, and dust ruffle and positioned it adjacent to slip-covered sofa. Love this space now.

Pretty and practical Barcelona door mats!

Love my new Barcelona vinyl mats that I ordered from Rachel Ashwell. They are so practical. No more messing with heavy rugs getting in the way of opening and closing doors. 

Love these new mats. This one is at the back door leading out to garden.

They are so practical. They wipe clean with soap and water on both sides.

This one is at my front door. Oh so pretty!

Boho chic sectional!

Designed a boho chic sectional for TV room. Purchased two twin discount roll-away beds, pushed them together, added twin dust ruffles, cushions and mushy pillows. Keep an eye out for cushions at thrift stores. I used four big exercise cushions that I  found while out thrifting. You could also use pallets as a base.  Love this space now. 

! Love curling up in the corner with a book and a blanket. So comfy!

Perfect little  room for either TV viewing or reading now!

 

Embracing all things "Scandinavian"!

Purchased this cute "Scandi" embroidered top at a thrift store yesterday. Love it! 

Broke out my Hannah Anderson "Swedish" clogs as well!

Rearranged my family room. Am embracing a "Nordic" vibe as of late.  Scandinavians love WHITE!

The Power of Poufs!

For extra seating in your family room or any room in your home, consider poufs. These versatile little pieces can fit right in under a coffee table and pack a punch of color as well. While I  noticed a few bright colored poufs at a local thrift store awhile back, I purchased mine (which match my decor), during end of season clearance at Target.,

 

Vintage Silver photo frame!

Went to a flea market on Saturday and purchased this old vintage frame. Perfect to add to my collection of "all silver" frames.  Almost all my frames were purchased at thrift stores or flea-markets. This collection is all black & white. Love black & white or sepia prints. Guess I am nostalgic!

Mother's Day weekend 2015!

Had a beautiful mother's day yesterday. Was treated to lunch with my sweet son and husband. Certainly missed our daughter, but she was in the midst of law school finals. Feel so blessed to be the mom of an amazing son and an amazing daughter. Here is a pic from yesterday and a fb photo of my daughter and I on her wedding day. Finally, here is a snap of my mom whom is now 91 years old. I will get to visit her in June. Can't wait!

Have never seen a more beautiful bride! She reminded me of a young Grace Kelly! Mother's Day is extra special for me because Catherine was actually born on Mother's Day. What greater Mother's Day gift could there ever be?
